Steam Generator Primary System Maintenance
KEPCO KPS performs maintenance and inspection services for the primary side of steam generators, one of the key components of nuclear power plants.
In particular, KEPCO KPS jointly developed ROSA III, Remotely Operated Service Arm Version 3, a multipurpose robot for steam generator primary side maintenance and inspection at nuclear power plants, with Westinghouse NSD of the United States in 1996.
In August 1998, KEPCO KPS manufactured the system independently using domestic technology and has applied it at nuclear power plant sites across Korea.
