In-house training for enhancing maintenance technical capabilities among job competencies is conducted by the training institutes, including the Human Resources Development Institute and the Nuclear Training Institute.
At these training institutes, maintenance technology education is provided in stages, from basic to practical and professional levels. Based on training institute education and field work experience, KEPCO KPS operates an in-house qualification system, which was recognized in 2000 by the Ministry of Labor as an in-company qualification testing system. Through this in-house qualification system, KEPCO KPS evaluates employees’ maintenance technology levels and links the results to differentiated treatment, establishing an advanced system that motivates employees to enhance their technical capabilities.
