KEPCO KPS has built and run an efficiency-oriented R&D execution system where research organizations push forward and lead their own specialized R&D projects. A variety of R&D activities, under the stewardship of the KEPCO KPS Global Institute of Technology(K-GIT), are conducted by each internal research organization including the Strategic Technology Development Center & Digital Technology Development Center executing national and company-wide R&D strategies; Solution Center, Engineering Center developing specialized technologies and providing solutions; the Nuclear Power Technology Service Center focusing on maintenance technologies for nuclear facilities; The Power Plant Maintenance Engineering Center carrying out gas turbine overhaul and domestic technology development; Business Offices developing field-applied technologies; and the KEPCO KPS Academy(KPS Academy) running research projects.
