KEPCO KPS Academy

Established in 1990, the Nuclear Training Institute is equipped with advanced education systems and programs. By developing maintenance personnel required for nuclear power generation, the Institute has contributed to achieving flawless maintenance of nuclear power generation facilities and the globalization of maintenance technologies.
The Institute has also played a key role in helping Korea achieve one of the world’s highest levels of nuclear power plant utilization.

Equipped with approximately 180 types of training facilities, including maintenance training buildings, practice facilities, and reactor heads, the Institute provides field-oriented practical training through a wide range of specialized maintenance courses, such as reactor disassembly and assembly, nuclear fuel replacement, and steam generator maintenance. In addition, the Institute conducts training programs in the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation fields for local maintenance personnel in the UAE.
