Overseas NPP Business

KEPCO KPS, in order to implement the policy of ‘industrializing nuclear power plant export’ of 120 national agenda, decisively conducted the reorganization and sustainably pushed for revitalizing the industry ecosystem for nuclear power plant maintenance, securing the company’s future growth engine, based on new nuclear plant exports and wider service provision for the existing nuclear plants in operation.

KEPCO KPS has contributed to the successful commercial operation of Unit 1, 2, 3 of UAE BNPP power plant which is the first-ever Korean Reactor introduced abroad, starting from commissioning maintenance in 2013 and now is in the completion stage for the commercial operation of the last Unit 4, securely operating the existing plants through routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.

Based on these performances, KEPCO KPS is actively participating in exporting new nuclear power plants in Czech and Poland as part of Team Korea. Especially, tangible outcomes are being generated in the field of running nuclear power plants thanks to our strategic selection of 10 countries and smart business activities.
